A new one is available mod for the PC version of Tales of Arise quite interesting, as it introduces a multiplayer mode locally. To be precise, up to four players will be able to collaborate, fighting side by side in the clashes of the Bandai Namco JRPG.
The multiplayer mod was made by Eusthron and is available on NexusMods at this link, in case you are interested in trying it. In battle, each player will command a specific character, where normally this would be driven by the AI. In Tales of Arise the party is made up of four people so as a result up to four players will be able to participate in this co-op mode. The mod also introduces a tool thanks to which it is possible to change the camera settings so that it adapts to the presence of multiple players on the screen.
The mod is considered by the author still in an experimental phase, but the results already look promising and could be an excellent incentive to replay Bandai Namco’s JRPG, this time in the company of one or more friends, or to get close for the first. aimed at the series. Among other things, for the uninitiated, the co-op was present in the previous chapters and its absence in Tales of Arise may have made more than one player turn up their noses. So, even if it is not an official feature, this mod could potentially appeal to many.
In addition to PC, Tales of Arise is also available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. Recently, a survey by Bandai Namco mentions possible re-edits of some old chapters of the series, such as Tales of Xillia and Tales of the Abyss.
