How to activate Bizum
To activate Bizum and be able to send and receive money instantly without having to save or write long bank account combinations, you have to follow these simple steps, as long as you meet the above requirements:
- Access your bank’s app.
- Locate the Bizum section: The exact location may vary depending on each bank’s app, but it is generally found in the main menu, in the transfers or payments section, or even in a highlighted section. Search for terms like “Bizum,” “Send and receive money,” or “Immediate payments.”
- Activate the service: Once inside the Bizum section, you will find the option to activate it. Click on “Activate Bizum”, “Sign up” or similar.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions: It is important that you carefully read the legal information and conditions of use of the service before accepting them.
- Verify your phone number: The app will show you the phone number associated with your bank account. Confirm that it is correct. If you need to modify it, contact your bank.
In most cases, Bizum will be activated immediately and you can start using it. Some banks may require an additional confirmation step, such as entering a code sent via SMS.
