Goodbye contingency! Double Suspended Today it does not circulate in the VDM area

Around four in the afternoon, central time, this Sunday, May 19, the decision of the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) of suspend the environmental contingency in the Valley of Mexico area.

Through a statement, CAMe announced the suspension of the Environmental Ozone Contingency in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico (ZMVM). Due to the above, Restrictive measures on circulation, such as the “double Hoy No Circula”, are also suspended.

After recording hourly ozone concentrations lower than the established limits, the Mexico City Air Quality Monitoring System (CMDX) indicated a reduction in atmospheric stability, due to the decrease in the intensity of the high pressure system.
