What is known about Web-Weaver?
To date it is known from Foxe that Web-Weaver is a not-so-affable fashion designer at Van Dyne, who gains spider powers and is a very different guy than classic Spider-Man. It only remains to wait for his debut to learn more about his origin and the purpose he will have in the comic.
Users react to Web-Weaver
Through social networks, dozens of users have given their opinion regarding the inclusion of this new character.
Unfortunately, most do not agree very much with the introduction of Web-Weaver. Below you can read some comments.
For their part, people who support the LGBT community and who are part of it did not agree with the new Marvel character either.
As can be read from the tweets, many agree that Web-Weaver’s appearance only highlights the stereotypes surrounding gay people.
So it only remains to be hoped that, over the course of days, Marvel Comics listens to its fans and makes the corresponding changes or clarifies the discomforts of the LGBT community.
