The Ambassadors’ Days discuss the upheaval in world politics, such as the impact of Russia’s large-scale war of aggression on the international order.
President Sauli Niinistö and the prime minister Sanna Marin (sd) will both give a speech and press conference today at the ambassadors’ day.
Niinistö’s speech starts at 10 a.m. and the press conference at 11 a.m. Marin’s speech is at 11:30 a.m. and the press conference at 12 p.m. HS will show them all live.
Finland ambassadors representing the world have gathered in Helsinki for a meeting lasting until Tuesday, where the heads of Finland’s foreign embassies and the country’s foreign policy leadership meet each other.
The meeting will discuss the upheaval in world politics, such as the impact of Russia’s large-scale war of aggression on the international order. In addition, the EU’s role in the changing security policy environment will be presented, among other things.
On Monday, the foreign minister spoke at the ambassadors’ day Pekka Haavisto (green) and the Minister of Defense Antti Kaikkonen (center).
