Football A Dutch national team player is being charged with attempted murder

New evidence is police wiretapping recordings.

Dutch player of the national football team and the Spartak of Moscow Quincy Promes is being charged with attempted murder. The Dutchman is talking about this, among other things NL Times.

It’s the incident of the summer of 2020, when Promes hit his cousin with a knife on his knee. The cousin was seriously injured in the blow.

Later in the fall, Promes was suspected of attempted murder, but now new evidence has emerged that the murder attempt is being prosecuted.

New ones others relate to telephone conversations that were eavesdropped on by police shortly after the stabbing.

“No one steals from us. He’s rude. I couldn’t let it be. Sorry, aunt, sorry, ”Promes says in one call.

In another call, Promes says, “Fortunately, I no longer have a gun. In that case, it would have ended much worse. ”

According to the NL Times, the victim has demanded during the trial that the charge be for attempted murder. Promes has pleaded not guilty.
