The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóowill bring together the presidents of the autonomous communities and cities governed by the PP on January 11 and 12 in Asturias to explain their political proposals on different matters and show its “effective and different management” facing a Government “extorted by its partners and besieged by corruption.”
This has been pointed out by PP sources to Europa Press, who explain that the objective is to “delve into the policies that result in the general interest and support the equality of all Spaniards.
In this sense, they will address legislative reforms to facilitate access to affordable housing, a State problem that has “worsened” under Sánchez’s mandate.
In addition, popular leaders will work on initiatives to promote an “open and competitive” economy and will reaffirm the “unequivocal” commitment to useful politics at the service of the common good.
The PP criticizes that, while they meet to talk about Spain, the PSOE will do it to “talk about Franco” and they highlight that the equality of Spaniards is “at risk from a Government extorted by its partners and besieged by corruption.”
He also emphasizes that “the PP ended 2024 legislating from the opposition and managing to publish its initiatives in the BOE, despite not being in the Government.”
In this sense, he emphasizes that with this initiative he combines his work of controlling the Executive of Pedro Sánchez with a proactive work and configuration of alternatives and presents the meeting as a “response to the blockade” of the laws that he proposes in the Congress of Deputies. and to help ensure that the Popular Party’s autonomies cover the deficiencies of the central government.
