This is the sixth round of sanctions introduced by the European bloc.

The leaders of the European Union (EU) reached an agreement on Monday on the embargo on “more than two thirds” of their purchases of Russian oilannounced the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, in a message on Twitter.

“Agreement to ban the export of Russian oil to the EU. This immediately covers more than 2/3 of Russia’s oil importscutting off a huge source of funding for their war machine,” the official tweeted.
