In 2020, the Latin American feminist magazine ‘Volcánicas’ published an article that recounted the stories of women victims of sexual harassment and abuse by the Colombian film director Ciro Guerra, who in turn responded with a lawsuit and asking for one million dollars in compensation. The case has just been resolved and protected feminist journalism. The Supreme Court of Justice of Colombia ruled in favor of the author journalists and the article will not be withdrawn.
