The criminal suspicion concerns the events in the restaurant on the night between Saturday and Sunday. According to the police, there had been an argument between several people, as a result of which the suspect strangled the 51-year-old man, who became lifeless.
Despite CPR, the man did not regain consciousness, and he died in hospital on Wednesday. The 44-year-old suspect was arrested on the same day in the district court of Ostrobothnia on suspicion of murder.
The police are investigating the exact course of events.
