The Austrian government will announce shortly the lifting of the quarantine obligation for people infected with Covid. This was reported by the APA news agency, specifying that a decree with the new provisions will be issued during the day.
The main novelty of the decree is the fact that positive people, who do not feel sick, they can leave their home. They will, however, have to wear the Ffp2 mask unless they are outdoors and within two meters of other people. They are also prohibited from visiting hospitals, nursing homes and facilities for the disabled. Austrian Health Minister Johannes Rauch and Labor Minister Martin Kocher plan to officially present their “variant management plan” at a press conference.
