The Argentine Soccer Professional League has just begun. This weekend the second date will be played but there is already news…and strong ones. According to Gastón Edul, Carlos Tévez will not continue to be the coach of Independienteafter the match that “Rojo” will play with Platense.
Although the reasons for the decision are unknown, the last defeat against Talleres, at the beginning of the tournament, would have been the trigger. Tévez has already informed Nestor Grindetti, president of the Institution, and this weekend he will be in charge of Independiente, for the last time.
So far, the “Apache” led Rojo in 31 games, with 14 wins, 11 draws and 6 losses. After a difficult start, Tevez managed to win several consecutive matches and almost qualified for the quarterfinals of the League Cup.
