Spring is just around the corner. In many places it will be sunny in the next few days, with temperatures up to 13 degrees.
Offenbach – After stormy days with lots of clouds and precipitation, high “Kai” brings calm late winter weather to large parts of Germany at the start of the week.
Shortly before the meteorological end of winter, it will be mostly sunny in many places on Sunday, the German weather service in Offenbach announced on Saturday. Only in the east could the fog and high fog dissolve only hesitantly.
The temperatures rise to four degrees in the Alps and up to eleven degrees in the Lower and Middle Rhine. At higher altitudes, however, there could be strong gusty winds and in the higher areas of the Black Forest there could also be gusts of wind at times.
It will be frosty on Monday night. The temperatures are between zero and minus seven degrees, in the Alps around minus eleven degrees. According to the meteorologists, only the islands remain frost-free. During the day it will be sunny and dry. In North Rhine-Westphalia, temperatures will rise to 13 degrees.
However, Tuesday will bring heavier clouds and occasional precipitation for the north-western half. To the south-east, however, it will remain clear, sunny and dry all day. The temperatures rise to six to twelve degrees. In the night to Wednesday there can be a risk of ice, especially in the middle due to freezing drizzle and rain. dpa
