Call of Duty: Vanguard is having a major problem crash continue, which actually makes impossible to play. The developers of Sledgehammer Games are studying the matter and are already working to solve it. Meanwhile, they have deactivated the “Secrets of the Pacific” event, just launched, on which most of the blocks should depend.
The event invites players to scout Verdansk to look for objects from another era. Doing so unlocks intels for Call of Duty: Warzone’s upcoming Caldera map. Unfortunately, not everything went as it should have.
Sledgehammer Games announced that players who have completed the proposed challenges before the event is removed will keep all their progress when it comes back online.
In the meantime, the launch of the Caldera map has been postponed to December 8, 2021. In short, it is not exactly an exceptional period for the Call of Duty series (actually for all live service military shooters, also considering the problems of Battlefield 2042).
For the rest, we remind you that Call of Duty: Vanguard is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
