Sinaloa.- By majority vote, the Cabildo de Culiacán approved this Wednesday the proposal for the municipal president and the solicitor to promote a constitutional controversy before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, against the Second Transitory Article of Legislative Decree No. 3 that contains unit values of land and buildings of the municipality of Culiacán, this after the State Congress did not approve what was established by the City Council, which was a general increase of 6 percent to property taxes.
Likewise, during the session it was agreed to approve the opinion of the United Commissions of Finance and Urbanism, Ecology and Public Works, regarding the revocation of agreement number nine, approved in the Ordinary Session of the Cabildo dated August 13, 2020, through the which was authorized in favor of Fovissste, the transfer of ownership of a property located in the Urbivilla del Cedro subdivision.
