Despite the deafening silence Beyond Good & Evil 2 reality.
Formalized on the occasion ofE3 2017 (i.e. practically four years ago), Beyond Good & Evil 2 It hasn’t shown any signs of life for a long time, except for a brief hint from CFO Frederick Duguet who stated during the last conference call that the work behind the game was progressing. However, it appears that the game is still in development by Ubisoft.
In fact, according to a job posting posted on LinkedIn, Ubisoft is currently looking for a 3D programmer to work on this highly anticipated game. Recall that the last official appearance of Beyond Good & Evil 2 dates back to 2018.
There have been rumors that there may be some sort of reveal coming up in 2021, but for now the game hasn’t been shown at any conference and, with 2021 practically drawing to a close, it’s unlikely we’ll know more. Recall that it is not only Beyond Good & Evil 2 to be in development at Ubisoft: everyone remembers Skull & Bones, another title postponed several times.
For now, the development behind Beyond Good & Evil 2 is proceeding, but currently we don’t know for sure on which platforms.
