Kansas City in the state of Missouri was the scene of a shooting this Wednesday, during the celebration of the title won in the Super Bowl final by the Chiefs, the local team. Police confirmed at least one death in the events and several people are injured.

The shooting occurred west of Union Station, where thousands had gathered for the parade. Although there is no exact number of injuries, a fire department official informed the Associated Press news agency that between eight and ten people were affected, including children among the injured.
Police confirmed the arrest of two armed people in connection with the attack. At the moment, the death of one of the people attacked has been confirmed, although the state of health of the rest is unknown.

Videos shared on social media showed officers entering the crowded station and victims being transported in ambulances.
This Sunday the Kansas City Chiefs, the city's team, won the Super Bowl. The victory parade concluded outside Union Station, and according to local reports, the players were still on stage when gunfire broke out.
