The eighteen-year-old Russian who bombed the monastery in Serpukhov was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow until March 31, 2022. This was reported to Lente.ru on Monday, January 31, in the press service of the Moscow City Court.
According to the court, Vladislav S. is accused of attempted murder of two or more people. An explosion in a gymnasium on the territory of a convent in Serpukhov thundered on December 13. The explosive was carried by an 18-year-old graduate of the institution. At first, he sat on the steps at the entrance to the gymnasium with a large knife in his hands, and after the explosion he tried to crawl into the building on his hands – the detonation severely injured his legs. Medical assistance was required for 13 victims.
Later, information appeared that the teenage bomber could have been sent to this gymnasium by his parents for re-education.
Education in the gymnasium of the monastery was carried out in small classes of up to 16 people each. According to some reports, Vladislav S. wanted to make an explosion during prayer.
