The two Genoese festivals begin to drop the first aces of their respective billboards. Summer of concerts comes on
Genoa – A new festival in an unprecedented space. Saturday 25 June at the Parco degli Erzelli Great Campus of Genoa, arrives Aries in concert. This is the second appointment of The Next Day, a new format dedicated to the new generations and branded Goa-Boa festival. The day before, June 24th, it will be there Blanco: the live sold out in a few hours. The third name of the festival, which will perform on June 26, is still top secret. Pre-sales for season tickets for all days of the event remain open, which in fact stands as a sort of big red carpet that will then lead to the actual Goa-Boa, expected in the coming months. With “Specchio”, the first album out on February 25, 2022, the Roman singer-songwriter Ariete marks her return after the success of the two ep “Space” and “18 years” as well as a series of concerts all sold out, including precisely the one in Genoa, at the Porto Antico, scheduled for last summer. In recent months, Ariete has established itself with its melancholy, poetic imprint and with a unique and personal style, becoming in fact one of the reference artists for generation Z. With “Mirror” a more mature note emerges: simplicity, sincerity and sincerity are the backbone and the leitmotif of all the songs, touching the most secret and intimate chords of the soul, telling each other without filters. Even the Whale Festival, an event that in a few years has immediately become a beacon at a territorial and national level, is unveiling its own billboard. The dates of the festival will be from 16 to 24 July at the Arena del Mare in the Porto Antico. The first name announced, expected on July 24, was Fantastic Negrito, an international name: its sound combines blues, funky, hip hop, soul, rock and has been awarded 3 Grammy Awards in 2017, 2019 and 2021 in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category. The concert of MadMan, a very technical rapper who will present his latest work “Mm Vol. 4” live for the first time, released in November 2021. An introspective, gloomy project, somehow the result of the pandemic and the long months of lockdown and disorientation, will finally see the light. Another name that makes up the billboard is that of Franco126, which will be in Genoa on July 16. The Roman singer-songwriter returns to Liguria for his thirty years. After his debut in 2017 and participation in the first Balena Festival in 2019, the artist with a slightly retro, poetic and magical stamp is ready to present the songs of his latest beautiful album “Multiplex”.
