The tax on Moscow apartments will rise by ten percent next year. On Monday, October 11, reports RIA News with reference to the words of Kirill Kulakov, Chairman of the Committee for Cadastral Appraisal and Challenging the Cadastral Appraisal of the national association of SRO appraisers “Soyuz SOO”.
According to him, such a decision was made at a round table on the preliminary results of the cadastral assessment in Moscow.
“Towards the end of November, the results of the state cadastral appraisal – 2021 will be officially approved, and from January 1, 2022, they will come into effect,” Kulakov explained, adding that according to the results of this year’s assessment, almost all real estate objects in Moscow have increased their cadastral value.
He clarified that these indicators in some segments increased by 30-50 percent compared to January 2018. Despite this, the expert warned that real estate owners can be calm, since, according to the current legislation, the amount of property tax for individuals on these objects cannot grow by more than ten percent per year.
Muscovites will begin to pay the tax calculated on the new cadastral value starting in 2022, Kulakov summed up.
Earlier there was information that an employee of one of the territorial departments of the Federal Tax Service in the Moscow region was suspended from work because he paid small taxes for citizens.
