The National Health Agency (ANS) published this Thursday (20) in the Official Gazette of the Union a resolution that includes rapid tests for covid-19 in the coverage of health plans.
The procedure will have to be prescribed by the doctor for symptomatic patients, between the 1st and the 7th day from the onset of symptoms. Plans are not required to provide testing to asymptomatic patients, children under 24 months of age, and people who tested positive less than 30 days before the appointment.
+ Omicron did not increase elderly hospitalizations, say UK Covid counselors
