SLP.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) highlighted the scope of the Wellness programs in San Luis Potosíwhere he led the state meeting of the Wellness Bank this weekend.
This Saturday, February 4, AMLO appeared together with the governor of San Luis Potosí, the morenista Ricardo Gallardofor one meeting with the servants of the nation related to social programs and the Banco del Bienestar, which took place at the Convention Center of the capital of San Luis Potosí.
At a press conference, the Mexican president highlighted the joint work between the Federation and the SLP government, which has allowed the Wellness programs reach 85% of households of the state, which translates into 569 thousand beneficiaries. “And we’re going to get to 100%,” she added.
AMLO also highlighted that Ricardo Gallardo unreservedly accepted to implement the IMSS-Wellness program in the state, in order that potosinos and potosinas have free medical attention and medicines.
“We are working together, in a coordinated manner, I want you to know that too… Ricardo behaves very well with us, he is our ally and our partnerI want you to keep that in mind,” the president declared.
He stressed that San Luis Potosí has a historical background that has marked the transformation and progress of its population and the rest of the country, always attending to “the most essential” to boost its economy.
“I admire and envy me for good, because I started like you, working in the communities, with my people,” AMLO commented in reference to the work of the San Luis Potosí government.
When taking the floor, the governor of San Luis Potosí stressed that the social programs implemented by his administration, together with federal support, contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the state.
“With President López Obrador we had a meeting of the Welfare Bank,” reported the Morenista. “In San Luis Potosí, we fight so that no one is left behind, so that everyone has support,” he said.
