Our national team for physical strength added 4 new medals during its participation in the Asian Championship in Istanbul, Turkey, bringing the number of medals to eight, after Faisal Al-Ghais Al-Zaabi won the gold for men in the weight of 83 kg, and the gold of Abdullah Al Mazmi for men in the weight of 74 kg, and the silver of Rashid Lootah in the weight of 93 kg for men, and Mohammed Al-Hamidi gold in the “Masters”, with a weight of 105 kg.
The World Cup international, Faisal Al Ghais Al Zaabi, consolidated the UAE’s gains in these competitions by winning the title of champion of the Asian Championship for physical strength, the third time that Faisal Al Zaabi was able to win the title and in turn gifted the victory to the sports family in the Emirates, stressing that it enhances the position of physical strength in the UAE and Asia.
In turn, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al-Marri, Secretary-General of the Federation of Body Building and Fitness, praised the new achievement, describing it as enhancing the technical gains achieved by the game locally and internationally, describing it as a distinguished conclusion to the current sports season, wishing more success for the team players next year.
