Nintendo has released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom dedicated to the most iconic settings of Hyrule. In the video, which you will find at the end of the article, we will visit places like the Gerudo Desertthe Firone Jungle and the Oldin Volcanoallowing us to preview how the different locations have been rendered in this new chapter of the franchise.

August 5, 2024 – The trailer The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – The Lands of Hyrule (Nintendo Switch) showcases different lands of Hyrule, their inhabitants, and all-new gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomthe latest title in The Legend of Zelda series to be released on Nintendo Switch on September 26th. From the central plateau to the outer lands, from the arid Gerudo Desert to the peak of the Oldin volcano, players will be able to explore a variety of regions during their adventures.
The people of Hyrule have been swallowed up by strange cracks in the ground, and it’s up to Princess Zelda to save the kingdom. But Zelda isn’t alone: with the help of the fairy Tri, she obtains Tri’s staff, which allows her to create imitations called replicas, physical copies of objects found in the environment.
Replicas can be summoned to solve puzzles or defeat enemies, and can also be combined to solve problems in creative ways. Players can even recreate monster replicas to fight alongside them.
During her adventure to save the kingdom, Zelda will encounter the people of Hyrule who are struggling with all sorts of problems. Helping them solve their problems will be part of her journey, and with the Travel Journal it will be easier to keep track of all the quests. To move around more quickly, objects known as Teleport Pillars will be scattered throughout the map and, once discovered, will allow players to reach them immediately by simply selecting them on the map. Her trusty steed will also help Zelda to traverse the lands of Hyrule more quickly, easily overcoming the smallest obstacles and even galloping through the weakest enemies.
Throughout Hyrule, players will come across smoothie stands run by the Business Bushes, where ingredients gathered can be combined to create delicious drinks. These smoothies will have different effects based on the ingredients they are made of, such as restoring health. Zelda can also equip herself with different clothing and accessories to enhance certain abilities or simply change her look.
When creating replicas isn’t enough for Zelda, her companion Tri can help her with a special power called Synchronization that causes objects to follow Zelda’s movements. For example, she can unearth hidden treasures or get rid of pesky enemies. Synchronization can also be used on replicas. Reverse Synchronization, on the other hand, allows Zelda to follow the movements of creatures or objects. Using Synchronization and Reverse Synchronization, players can discover hidden paths or various solutions to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. Reverse Synchronization, for example, can make Zelda “follow” a boulder to open a hidden area or guide her to a flying creature and temporarily take flight.
The console too Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition in a special gold colorway featuring the Hylian Crest on the back and the Triforce under the right control stick, inspired by The Legend of Zelda series, will arrive on September 26. Players will also be able to enjoy access to a variety of classic The Legend of Zelda titles originally released on NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack included.

A gold Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition console inspired by The Legend of Zelda series will also launch on September 26, including a Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership + Add-on Pack.
