Zambelli says he is available to testify to the PGR – ISTOÉ DINHEIRO

Federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) released a note stating that she is available to testify to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).

Minister Gilmar Mendes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), determined that the parliamentarian be heard immediately by the PGR. It will be up to the Public Ministry to investigate Zambelli for having drawn a gun and chasing a man in São Paulo, on the eve of the second round of the presidential election.

“Deputy Carla Zambelli is most interested in the rapid and rapid progress of the investigation, where it will be possible for the PGR to conclude that there was no illegal conduct on the part of the parliamentarian. As soon as she is summoned, Carla will be available to provide any clarifications”, says a note released by Zambelli’s office after the decision. The deputy maintains that she acted in self-defense in the episode.
