Mexico City.- Club América Femenil took advantage of this ‘Yellow Day’ to officially announce the Mexican-American, Sabrina Enciso, as its new reinforcement for the Apertura 2022 tournament of Liga MX Femenil. She will support the defense by serving as a central defender.
Through an institutional video, the feathered ones welcomed the soccer player who was trained in the United States as she was originally from California, but who is of Mexican origin. “They saw her well, the wait is over …” she reads in the capital team’s publication.
“Hello, my name is Sabrina Enciso, I’m from California, I’m happy to be here, this is America and I’m going to give everything for this team,” the defender mentioned in the Eagles’ clip while he was located in the sports facilities with the first uniform of the club.
Sabrina had been training in Coapa for days, it was only a matter of hours to confirm her arrival at the team led by Ángel Villacampa, who will also make his debut in Liga MX Femenil by supplanting the American, Craig Harrington, on the technical bench.
The soccer player will not occupy a place as a foreigner by virtue of understanding the two nationalities, so the Eagles will still have the possibility of occupying one of the four places authorized by the League for Untrained players in Mexico.
Sabrina Enciso played for the Arizona Wildcats institution and it was there where she pursued her professional career as the University of Arizona women’s team. Last season she played 11 games out of a possible 18 in college soccer.
