Doctor Strange 2officially called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesscould see Patrick Stewart return in the shoes of the Professor X? Many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe they applaud the idea, but it’s still too early to celebrate.
In the recent trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe spectators were able to listen a voice very familiar, which to many seemed to be Stewart’s, perhaps ready to take on the role he was in again X-Men. The actor’s involvement is not, however, I was officially confirmed and both Patrick and Marvel Studios did withheld from providing any detail, even minimal, in this regard.
In a recent interview with Comicbook.comthe actor has however broken the silence, stating that, although many are convinced, perhaps the voice that is heard in the trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness it’s not hers. People, according to Patrick, have imitated his voice for decades, but that doesn’t mean he’s included in this highly anticipated Marvel sequel.
You know, people have been mimicking my voice since I first took the stage 60 years ago. So I can’t be held responsible for that.
It’s possible that Stewart is telling the truth, or maybe the truth marketing campaign set in motion by Marvel Studios for the promotion of the film has imposed a strict silence on the matter. Or maybe you’re just having fun with an imitation of her voice to intrigue the audience.
It seems more likely, however, that Patrick Stewart is dodging the question to keep his comeback in Doctor Strange 2 as hidden as possible, until it is announced or shown in the film. We cannot forget that Andrew Garfield had denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home until the last, e Tobey Maguire he hadn’t made any statements.
Recall that a star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that is Tom Hollandis currently back in theaters as a young man Nathan Drakein Uncharted.
