In the commitment to the total opening of the border crossings, businessmen, unions and rulers converge. The president of the Táchira state, Freddy Bernal, insists that the binational agenda is necessary and that normalization would allow the start-up of 600 companies and 3,000 jobs. “to generate a trade balance of 7,000,000,000 dollars, on the Táchira-Norte de Santander border”.

The deputies have held meetings with the Chamber of Commerce of Cúcuta, the Customs Chamber of San Antonio del Táchira, “to adapt infrastructure for the grand opening,” emphasizes Palencia.
