Home race for Prema, which for the first time will be in action in front of the Italian fans in the tricolor round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The team that fielded Robert Kubica / Louis Delétraz / Lorenzo Colombo on the Oreca 07-Gibson # 9 is determined to compete in a good 6h in Monza, chasing success in the LMP2 Class.
After the podium achieved at the 24h of Le Mans, at Prema there is great excitement for the appointment on the Temple of Speed, for which she prepared by taking part in the 4h of the ELMS last Sunday, where however the aerodynamic kit was the one with higher downforce than required by the World Championship rules.

“It is fantastic to be able to race in Monza, the home race, with our new WEC program, especially after the great experience we had at the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” said team principal, Rene Rosin.
“Obviously, even if we know a lot of things about this circuit, it will be only the second time for us that we will race there with a prototype car and there is still a lot to learn.”
“We are counting on Robert, Louis and Lorenzo, who have been fantastic so far, and we want to fully support them with teamwork in an event that presents many challenges and difficult elements.”
“I think we have shown we have potential, but we have to work hard to put it into practice and be competitive from week to week.”
