Pirkanmaa the rescue service has received several calls during Tuesday from the sinking ship in the Ratina embankment on the Ratina coastal road.

The Pirkanmaa Rescue Department has previously placed oil spill booms in the vicinity of the ship to prevent oils from spreading into the water. In addition, the ship is moored ashore.

“The matter is under scrutiny and the owner is aware of it. The owner should take care of the follow-up. The rescue service has been involved in the initial situation and has taken oil spill response measures, but it is the owner’s responsibility to take care of the property, ”says Havukainen.

Coniferous could not tell when the oil spill began, but on Tuesday morning the rescue department last visited the site.

“The emergency center was told during the day that there had been several reports of the ship during the day, but it has not led to action.”

According to Rautanen, the ship appeared to be “pretty much as skewed” as it was in the pictures taken during the day.

The alarm center has received several calls from passers-by on Tuesday from a ship sinking in the Ratina backwater.
