The weekend of United States Grand Prix did not start out in the name of calm and tranquility for Max Verstappen, appeared particularly nervous between the days of yesterday and today. In fact, in almost all three free practice sessions, the Dutchman of Red Bull was the protagonist of some episodes that highlighted his impetuousness on the track. The most sensational fact certainly dates back to what happened yesterday during PL2, with a wheel to wheel with his rival Lewis Hamilton which infuriated the leader of the world championship, complete with insults against the British Mercedes.
The circumstances that occurred today in the final stages of the PL3: Mad Max in fact he concluded the session in third place, a result however tainted by the decision of the Race Direction of cancel his best time for having passed the track limits in turn 19. Had it not been for this cancellation, the number 33 would have finished the session at the top of the standings.

However, the episode that infuriated the Austrian team driver again took place two minutes after the conclusion of the last tests: in an attempt to return to the top of the ranking, the Dutchman lost the opportunity to sign the fastest lap for the close presence of Alfa Romeo’s Antonio Giovinazzi, with the Apulian who actually ruined Verstappen’s time. The latter, after making a gesture of protest against the pilot from Martina Franca, finally expressed a statement via radio that was anything but friendly: “I have to buy everyone glasses”. The US GP certainly did not start at the right pace, on an emotional level, for the Dutchman.
