Venezuela rejects military exercises between the US and Colombia

In the midst of the climate of tension due to the conflict in Ukraine, in which Venezuela has taken a position in favor of Russia, the Minister of Defense of the Caribbean country has rejected the presence of a US nuclear submarine in Colombian waters.

General Vladimir Padrino López, a Venezuelan minister, wrote on his Twitter account about the military exercises between Colombia and the United States, assuring that he was making a “categorically reject”.

Given this, there has been no reaction from Venezuela, which has repeatedly denounced the presence of the US in the neighboring country.
