Finland the men’s national basketball team has won the World Cup qualifiers in Slovenia 83-79.
Finland, which has already won the reigning European champion Slovenia on Friday, has grabbed three victories in its four qualifying matches and is close to a place in the qualifiers.
Finland led the match with 21 points at halftime and 15 points even after the third quarter. At the end of the match, Finland lasted, although Slovenia rose to three points in the final minute.
Mikael Jantunen was Susijeng’s best scorer with 17 points. Sasu Salin and Ilari Seppälä gave fire support, throwing 13 points, and also Elias Valtonen and Shawn Huff broke the tenth limit.
