An unidentified person rammed the gates of the Russian Embassy in Dublin on a truck. This is reported TASS.
An embassy representative told the agency correspondent that an unknown person drove a truck in reverse through the gate. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. The organization also said that Irish police officers were inactive during the incident.
According to TASS, the truck driver was detained. The cause of the incident is unknown and the police are investigating. For security reasons, local law enforcement agencies blocked nearby streets.
Earlier in March, Russian Ambassador to Amsterdam Alexandra Shulgin said that employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in the Netherlands were receiving death threats and white powder letters. “This is not an isolated action. Letters with white powder were sent to me, to the military attache and three other senior diplomats of the embassy,” he added.
