A group of students from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FEI) took first place this week at the robotics world championships in Bangkok, Thailand, with the presentation of Hera, a robot-home caretaker.

Hera is endowed with artificial intelligence programmed to carry out domestic activities without the influence of human control, according to the Olhar Digital portal.
The device was developed in 2015, but has undergone changes to meet the requirements of each edition of the championship.
The Brazilians assembled the machine at the event. Five suitcases with parts, papers and bubble wrap were used.
