United States | The FBI searched Trump’s Vice President Pence’s apartment for classified documents

According to an official source, Friday’s searches were carried out in agreement with Mike Pence.

Stateside The federal police, the FBI, conducted a search on Friday for the former vice president Mike Pence in an apartment in Indianapolis. An official of the Ministry of Justice tells the news agency Reuters about the matter.

The search is related to classified documents found in Pence’s home in mid-January. A Justice Department official said Friday’s searches were conducted with the consent of Pence.

Pence action Donald Trump’s as vice president in 2017–2021. In addition to Pence’s home, secret documents have been found in the possession of both Trump and the president Joe Biden from home and previous private office.

Special prosecutors are currently investigating both Biden and Trump for keeping secret documents, Reuters reports.

Pence had previously assured that he had no secret documents in his possession. However, Pence’s lawyer found classified documents in his home in Indiana, which were handed over to the FBI.
