Through GfK we have the opportunity to see the UK ranking in game sales for the week ending October 16. Thanks to this information we can see that FIFA 22, Far Cry 6 and Metroid Dread they do not yield an inch.
First of all, let’s see the full UK ranking:
- FIFA 22
- Far Cry 6
- Metroid Dread
- Back 4 Blood
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Minecraft
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
- Grand Theft Auto 5
As you can see, the first position is FIFA 22, followed by Far Cry 6 and Metroid Dread. The interesting part is that the three games have held the same position as the previous week, even though an interesting new game has come out like Back 4 Blood, which has to settle for fourth place. Back 4 Blood sold 62% on PS5, 22% on PS4 and 17% on Xbox Series X | S: the latter is a very valid result considering that the game is also available on Game Pass.
The ranking is not lacking in some evergreens from Nintendo, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing New Horizons and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Also included in the rankings Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, which last week had dropped to 14th place: the game Insomniac continues to move in and out of the Top 10, as a result of the increase and decrease of PS5 distributed in the region.
We also report that Alan Wake Remastered, which debuted in fifth place last week, has now dropped to position 17 on the UK chart, with -77% sales. Crysis Remastered Trilogy debuted in 24th position.
Speaking of FIFA 22: here is the Title Update 1 of October 14, all the news.
