Querétaro.- The youtuber Gabriel Montiel, better known as Werevertumorro, was harshly criticized on social networks for making a joke about the violent day in Querétaro vs Atlaswhere a pitched battle broke out between fans that left at least 22 injured.
Among the disturbances caused by the fight between fans during the Liga MX match, the screen that supports the VAR was vandalized, so Werevertumorro did not hesitate to make fun of it.
The influencer uploaded a photo of the broken VAR screen to his official Twitter account, where he commented as a joke: “Now if the VAR has lines in Qro“, wrote.

The words of Gabriel Montiel they did not cause grace among Internet users, who reproached him for his lack of sensitivity for making fun of the violence in the state of La Corregidora.
Twitter users reminded the youtuber that unofficial reports indicated at least a dozen deaths from the pitched battle between fans.
“You are talking about at least a dozen dead and can you think of putting an image where they broke a screen?”, is one of the comments that the publication received.
Before the reproaches, Werevertumorro decided to delete the controversial publicationalthough he did not choose to apologize either.
However, the influencer changed his tone and later published a series of tweets condemning the violent acts that marked the match on Day 9 of the Clausura 2022.
“The Queretaro Stadium must have one of the biggest penalties in a LONG time“Werevertumorro demanded in a message.
In another tweet, he recalled that there had already been clashes in a Querétaro vs. San Luis match, but the authorities did not reinforce security and did not even appear to prevent further violent acts in soccer games.
The youtuber criticized that “Mexican soccer is going down in number” due to a series of factors: “poor level, unfortunate arbitration, violence in the stadiums and fewer games on open TV.”
He even demanded the president of Liga MX, Mikel Arriola, act in the face of what happened, in order to prevent violent acts like this from being repeated in the games in the future.
“In all my life I had seen something like this in a stadium in Mexico. Do something @MikelArriolaP !!!! This touched you and the future of Mexican football remains largely in you …”, Werevertumorro wrote after his joke.

After the violent day, the authorities have confirmed a balance of 22 injured, while the president of Liga MX announced the suspension of the rest of Day 9 of the Clausura 2022 in solidarity with the victims.
