Trump threatens to break the high fire in Gaza if Hamas does not deliver the hostages on Saturday: “If they do not, a hell will be unleashed”

The US president, Donald Trump, no longer hides his intentions to derail the high fire in Gaza. After Hamas has announced Monday that postponed the release of Israeli hostages “until new notice” in response to breach of the terms of the truce by Israel, Trump has threatened to break the agreement if the Palestinian group does not deliver all the Prisoners planned on Saturday. “If they don’t, hell will unleash,” he said from the White House.

Hamas’s armed arm, the Qassam brigades, denounced this Monday that Tel Aviv has continued to bombard Gaza after the truce and has killed at least thirty people. Qassam says he has been “following the rapes of the enemy and his breach” of the terms of the truce, so he has decided to postpone the delivery of hostages planned for this Saturday.

Last weekend the fifth exchange of prisoners between Gaza and Tel Aviv was carried out, in which Hamas released three hostages and Israel returned to 183 prisoners and detainees.

Hamas had also noticed the mediators of the Alto El Fuego that no longer trusted the US guarantees to maintain the truce given Trump’s plans to expel the Palestinians of Gaza. On Monday morning, the Fox published a clip of an interview with the US president where he assured that the Palestinians expelled to neighboring countries under their plan to take control of Gaza would not have the right to return to their land. The president made his support again to the ethnic cleaning plan that Israel wants to perpetrate the Palestinian people and fed the discomfort amid the conversations that have already begun in Qatar to address the second phase of the cessation of hostilities.

“As far as I am concerned, if all hostages are not free for Saturday at 12.00, I would say: ‘Can it be canceled, everything is canceled and that the doors of hell are opened,” said the Republican while signing more executive orders From the oval office.

“If all of them do not come back, the drip is over, that of going two by two or three by three for Saturday, and the doors of hell will open,” he insisted: “I am talking about myself, Israel can correct me , but as far as I am concerned, Saturday at 12.00 ”.

When one of the journalists has asked the President a clarification regarding the expression of “unleashing hell” and if this meant that there would be reprisals from Israel, Trump has replied: “You will discover it, and they will also discover it. Hamas will discover what I mean. ” In another question, about whether the United States could be involved in the event that hostages are not released by Hamas, Trump has said: “We will see what happens.”

The threat of exploding the high fire is not a surprise. The president had already repeatedly expressed that he did not trust the truce to last much more. The surprise announcement last Tuesday of taking control of Gaza and reconverting it in a “Riviera de Oriente Medio” where the Palestinians cannot return is facilitating the work so that the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, make the truce fail. This, internally, may interest the Israeli president for his political survival, since he has lost support in the coalition government precisely due to the agreement.

Pressures to Egypt and Jordan

In his plan to commit a crime against humanity against the Gazatis and turn the strip into a large real estate business, Trump has insisted that Jordan and Egypt must accept the forced exodus of Palestinians. Before the previous refusal of both Arab countries, which limit with Palestine, the president has threatened to stop US help.

“If you do not agree, it would possibly retain help,” said Trump, who on Tuesday plans to meet with the king of Jordan, Abdullah II Bin al-Hussein. Amán received almost 1.7 billion dollars in American assistance in 2023, according to the official data of the United States Administration. Cairo obtained 1,500 million, of which more than 1,200 were military aid.

This Monday morning, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty had met with Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to address Trump’s plans to move the Gazati to his country. Shortly after the conversation, Egypt has published a statement in which it said that the only way to face threats on regional stability is with a vision towards the Middle East, where the international community also takes into account the Palestinians who suffer one “ unprecedented injustice ”with their basic rights. The Arab country urges the international community to adopt a unitary political vision to resolve the Palestinian crisis.

Trump’s plan to expel the Palestinians of Gaza permanently would mean the violation of a good number of international laws, in addition that he has been rejected with a roundness by Arab countries. These consider that what the president wants to do with the 2.3 million Palestinian residents of Gaza would be to repeat the Nakba in which about 750,000 Palestinians fled before the Israeli attack between 1947 and 1949.
