This type of series is a complete success in Spain. Ever since titles like ‘Fatmagül’ or ‘Love is in the air’ hooked a large number of viewers, Turkish series have gained a foothold on the television grid. More and more Turkish series are reaching the after-dinner table on television in Spain. In recent years, these types of soap operas have gained a lot of ground.

1. ‘Love is in the air’

Eda loses her scholarship to study abroad because of Serkan. He offers her a deal, if she agrees to spend two months with him as if she were her fiancee, she will help him pay for her studies.
2. ‘Fatmagul’
One of the Turkish series that revolutionized Spanish viewers was ‘Fatmagül’. It tells the story of a woman, Fatmagül, who lives in a coastal town with her brother and her wife. Her plans are to marry Mustafa, a young fisherman, to whom she is engaged. After a party, four men go out to party and find Fatmagül. This telenovela is broadcast on Antena 3 and has been the best daily premiere for a series after many years. ‘Tierra amarga’ tells the love story of Züleyha and Yilmaz. His life is turned upside down after an attempted sexual abuse and a crime. They flee the situation and reach a powerful landowner who lives with his authoritarian mother. 9. ‘Smuggled Love’

He is a workaholic who is difficult to please, but little by little the two understand each other.
