Amateurs, semi-professionals and professionals of MTB and Gravel, between 18 and 65 years old and belonging to the vibrant cycling community, will gather at this event. Local participants from Bogotá, regional participants from CundinamarcaTolima, Huila, Boyacá, Meta, Antioquia, Quindío, Risaralda, Caldas, Valle del Cauca and Santanderesas well as international competitors from Spain, the USA and Mexico, will meet to face this challenge.
The event, which will be held in a Non Stop format, will force competitors to continuously travel through different terrains ranging from the eastern hills to the rural areas of southern Bogotá, passing through the broken terrain of the west and the northern savanna. Yesid Bautista, leader of Monte Adentro Cycling Adventures, expressed his enthusiasm by stating “This year we are looking to consolidate the race as the most important ultracycling event in the central region of Colombia.”
The competition will be divided into 7 stages within the BiciBogotá Region circuit, and its unique Non Stop format will require participants to complete the route designated by the organization without stopping, pedaling day and night. The race will allow individual participation, in pairs or in teams of 4 cyclists in the relay modality, thus challenging the resistance and skills of the competitors.
