Rabat, the capital of Morocco
It is the fourth imperial city of Morocco, which has a curious mix of the historical tradition of the past and modernity established in the present.
It was founded by Abd al-Mumin in the 12th century, who used the kasbah ('fortress') as a base to fight the Spanish. It was during this period when its most emblematic buildings were built, such as the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah des Oudaias. This city became the stronghold for Muslims expelled from Spain at the beginning of the 17th century.

In 2019, Morocco and Colombia celebrated 40 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
