The health authorities establish the cold alert for this Wednesday and the Aemet forecasts winds of 45-55 kilometers per hour and waves of up to 3 meters in Cartagena and Mazarrón
The Ministry of Health maintains this Wednesday the level 2 risk of the National Action Plan for low temperatures in the Region of Murcia and asked the population to take self-protection measures to prevent the adverse effects of cold on health, especially the most vulnerable .
Thus, it is recommended that, abroad, the population breathe through the nose and not through the mouth, since the air heats up as it passes through the nostrils and thus reduces the cold that reaches the lungs, according to sources from the Center Emergency Coordination.
In addition, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) issued a yellow level adverse weather bulletin for coastal phenomena for this Wednesday. The gusts of wind from the northeast can reach 45-55 km/h and the waves at 3 meters on the coast of Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón from 12 noon to 6 in the afternoon.
