They found almost 2000 euros in banknotes on the street and, very diligently, handed them over to the police. It happened on Thursday 22 August in Brescia, in via Corsica, and now the officers are on the trail of the owner. The money was on the ground, in bundles of 20 and 50 euros: four passers-by found them and said that before them other people took some banknotes and walked away.
In total, the sum found on the ground was equal to 1840 euros. The four passers-by, originally from Brescia and Azzano Mella, did not think twice. They identified a patrol of the provincial police and handed over the sum. The agents are trying to trace the owner, who has one year to claim his money.
