Guasave, Sinaloa.- The manager of the Municipal Board of Potable Water and Sewage in Guasave assured that until now the taxpayers have had no difficulty paying their billssince they have been very responsible and punctual, despite the increase of 15 pesos in the rate due to the inflationary increase that occurred this year.
Gilberto Leyva Cervantes urged taxpayers to be up to date with their payments, in order to avoid a fine.

He stressed that until now they have been coming to make their corresponding payments, for which there have been no difficulties for users to pay on time, despite the increase in their bills.

He stressed that the update of the rate was applied by law, due to the inflationary increase of 7.37 percent that was applied last January, therefore an increase in the water bill of only 15 pesos was reflected.
He stated that no complaint or complaint has been filed by users in the face of the increase. “With the issue of payments, people have been coming as they normally do, they have been very responsible,” insisted the official.
Delinquent
He explained that so far it has been very difficult to slightly reduce the list of people who are in default. He mentioned that of a registry of 75,000 users, only about 40 percent are up to date.
He added that there are users who have debts of up to 5 thousand pesos, however, so far there has been no increase in the list of people who have debts, so they continue with that percentage of 60 percent.
He explained that taxpayers who have debts above 5 thousand pesos, usually request an extension. He stated that at the time of making an agreement, an advance of 30 percent is requested and the rest is divided into 12 and up to 36 months, in order to support the user.

“It is already regularized and it helps us in the Board to improve in the aspect of income”, stressed the manager of Jumapag. Leyva Cervantes invited users with debts to make their corresponding payments.
