Yecla and Murcia register more than 25 liters per square meter during the early hours of Friday
The storm that is going to cross the Region of Murcia throughout the weekend is leaving intense rainfall since early Friday morning. But not only in the form of rain: the snow has dyed white some points of the Murcian geography such as the Noroese and Sierra Espuña. A drastic change caused by the last throes of winter after the spring weather of the previous days.
The snow has fallen in the usual points of the Region of Murcia: Sierra Espuña and the Northwest. Specifically, in the Fountain of the Dead, in the area of Campo de Bejar, Moratalla, according to the portal meteonoroeste.es on its Twitter account. The RM-703 highway, which runs from the town to Campo de San Juan, woke up this Friday covered in snow.
As for the rains, until 8:30 am, Yecla has registered the highest amount during the night: 28 liters per square meter. It is closely followed by Murcia, with 26.2. In addition, more than 20 l/m2 have also fallen in Calasparra and Bullas. And above 15 are Molina de Segura and Jumilla.
