His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, discussed yesterday the brotherly relations between the two countries and paths of cooperation and joint work in various aspects that serve their mutual interests.
This came when His Highness received – at the Beach Palace – his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II, where he welcomed His Majesty, expressing his wishes for good health and happiness, and for brotherly Jordan and its people continued progress, progress and prosperity under his leadership.
His Highness and King Abdullah reviewed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries and opportunities for its development in various political, economic, investment and development fields, and worked to push them forward during the next stage in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Affairs Special Affairs in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority.
On the Jordanian side, it was attended by Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Jaafar Hassan, Director of His Majesty’s Office, and Nassar Habashneh, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the country.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, was at the forefront of the future of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, upon his arrival yesterday at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi on a working visit to the country.
He was also received by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
His Majesty King Abdullah II is accompanied by a delegation that includes Prime Minister of Jordan Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi, and Director of His Majesty’s Office Dr. Jaafar Hassan.
His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein left the country, where His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, was in his farewell.
