In Genoa, they consider that the victory in Andalusia shows that the ‘Feijóo effect’ works and that “the PP has no ceiling”
Alberto Núñez Feijóo has chaired this Monday the steering committee of the PP that has analyzed in detail the historic victory of 19-J in Andalusia, where Juanma Moreno has managed to overwhelm the left and right of the board with his absolute majority. A victory that is largely due, according to the popular, to the triumph of a “moderate management model that lowers taxes and makes people’s lives easier” and that opens the door to Pedro Sánchez de the Moncloa. “The PP has taken a decisive, firm step, so that Sánchez leaves Moncloa as soon as possible and returns to seriousness, experience, politics and the common sense that Alberto Núñez Feijóo embodies,” said the general coordinator, Elías Bendodo.
In Genoa, they see more possibilities than ever to reach the Government in the next general elections. And the success in Andalusia, in that sense, is decisive. “It has been shown that the PP has no ceiling in Spain,” said Bendodo, who stressed that “when the PP works with unity, it is unbeatable.” «Socialism has always said that there could be alternation in all communities except Andalusia. That last ceiling has been broken and that means that we don’t have it in Spain either,” stressed the Andalusian leader.
In the national leadership they insist that the conservative party “can aspire to great achievements in the future” although it maintains “prudence and moderation.” Certain that Sánchez will not press the red button “until he suits him”, in the PP engine room they assure, in any case, that they are “prepared and activated” for when the generals play. And remember that the ‘Feijóo effect’ works. “Without a doubt,” said Bendodo, like the tandem made up of the Galician and Moreno. “The national president – he stressed – adds up a lot.”
