What is known so far
According to witnesses, the tourist who disappeared this Monday in the falls would be a man in his 60s who was part of a group that toured the Iguazú National Park with a guide.
At the time of the event, it transpired that the person would have climbed the railing of the catwalk around 10:30 am, something that is expressly prohibited, and from there he would have fallen into the water, a few meters from a jump that has about 80 meters high in a river that shows almost 10 times its usual flow due to the flood.
