There is an Italian soul in the new one Foxtron Model Belectric crossover of the electronics giant Foxconn unveiled in Taiwan on the occasion of Hon Hai Tech Day. The new compact SUV is in fact the result of the creativity of Pininfarina, already the signature of the other models of the Asian brand and in particular of the flagship Model E with which the EV crossover will share a shortened version of the platform. Next to the Model B prototype, Model V was also unveiled, a full electric pick-up that Foxconn has designed especially for the American market.
The concept car should almost fully anticipate the features we will see on the production car arriving next year. 4.3 meters long, it has a 2.8 meter wheelbase which guarantees excellent habitability and spacious interiors. The aerodynamic study has led to a maximization of efficiency thanks to a Cx of 0.26 for a declared total range of 450 km. Model V, on the other hand, is the first pickup produced entirely in Taiwan. With a payload of up to 1 ton and a towing capacity of 3 tons, its dynamic performance has the ability to traverse all terrains. The EV pickup adopts a double cab 5-seat configuration. Sensors surrounding the bodywork are combined with electronic rear-view mirrors and a display screen to complement the instrument cluster, which not only improves safety but offers users intelligent technology.
